These pioneers have a special place in the Matakanarama story. The morning after TwoMinds festival 2024, a very dusty Rob crossed paths with Corban and shared that he and some boys had decided to have a crack at running a festival over New Year’s. So this is a bit of a full circle moment for us!

These guys are the BLUEPRINT. The fourth edition of Two Minds Festival was just announced for 2026, after hosting their first at just 24 years old. Beginning by hosting ambitious house parties, they’ve been connecting communities within the South Island music scene for the better half of a decade. Basically, we want to be them SO BAD you just know we had to fly them over for this.

Who better to curate vibes on the hill in the latter sunlight hours than these wise old dogs who know all elements of the equation. With a mature taste in deep house and funky flavours, dinner and drinks will be served with an irresistible side of hip grooving & two-stepping 💜
