We came across word of these legends at TwoMinds festival 2024, when members of our rave crew returned from another stage exclaiming they had just seen “the best DJs ever”. Having sought them out at this year’s edition, it can certainly be said they are something distinctly different to any other act in Aotearoa.

Now a cornerstone of Ōtautahi nightlife, Craigslist is a record label, party and DJ outfit built by Colter Carson and Raffael Hamblett. Since 2020, they’ve been creating shared moments of joy through a love of obscure records. That ethos has carried them from humble beginnings to a loyal community of partygoers and label supporters five years on.

As Craigslist Soundsystem, Colter and Raffy deliver sets that move fluidly across various eras and genres, pulling tunes that feel both nostalgic and fresh. Patience, eclecticism and subtlety are brimming from the mixer. They overflow with authentic energy behind the booth.

Notorious for their appearances down south where conga lines have erupted and speedos spotted front left (sounds familiar 🤔), what antics will unfold as the night is seen to conclusion on our northern hill?
