It’s time for the next chapter on our mission to bring together kiwi partygoers to unlock our silliest selves on the dance floor.
Inspired by the most powerful parties we’ve attended in our ongoing young adulthood.
The ones where conversations with new characters who reshape your perspective on what a human personality can feel like.The ones where it’s the strangers & new faces who unexpectedly gift you newfound safety to be yourself. Your silliest self. Your flow state. The ones when your unapologetic, self-forgiving inner ego claims back healthy territory in your being. And never gives up that ground.

Rama is also motivated by the horrible gigs we’ve been subjected to since we began attending them.
Music has a spiritual healing & connecting power that gets lost in many commercial pursuits. As a 20-something-year old kiwi punter, it seems harder to find events built on the understanding of this biological truth than those which ignore it while promoting the aesthetic & popular appeal of it.
…You also shouldn’t have to risk your safety and dignity to access it. Yet not all promoters can wrap their head around that (must be hard when you’re hidden away in the green room while it occurs).
Our generation has more access to empathy and understanding than any previous. We are armed to appreciate individuality with acceptance. Our MO is to pair that prideful position with the multi-generational wisdom of music cultures past and present, and package it in a digestible and accessible framework for our peers.
