Formed in Ōtepoti Dunedin, New Zealand, Cruze Control are a rising four piece known for blending surfy indie rock, psychedelic reggae and roots grooves into a sound that feels distinctly Aotearoa.
Made up of Tommy Meek (vocals/rhythm guitar), Cam MacFarlane (guitar/trumpet), Elijah McPherson (bass/guitar), and Jack Weight (drums), the band first emerged from late night university jam sessions before quickly building momentum through energetic live performances and infectious original tunes.
Cruze Control’s music captures themes of freedom and friendship, summer road trips, and finding your place in the world. Wrapped in warm guitar tones, reggae infused rhythms, and dreamy psychedelic textures.
Their growing catalogue, including tracks such as King Tide, Silver Tongue, and Poison, has helped establish them as one of the exciting new acts emerging from Aotearoa’s independent music scene.
With a growing following and a passion for creating music that connects people, Cruze Control continue to carve out their place within the next wave of Aotearoa’s live music culture.
