Tāmaki Makaurau based producer and DJ Juni is quickly becoming a standout name in Aotearoa’s UKG and UK Bass scene, known for his stripped-back, high-impact sound built for heavy systems and underground dance floors.
In just over a year since launching the project, Juni has already hit major milestones - sharing stages with artists like Y U QT, Badger, and Efan, and earning two invites to Rhythm & Vines, playing the Waiohika Warmup in both 2024 and 2025.
Internationally, his music has made serious moves - Limb By Limb Dub was dropped by Kampai at Boiler Room Bengaluru, and his unreleased collab XE2 Dub with UK producer Diffrent closing out Australia’s Pitch Music & Arts Festival.
Drawing inspiration from artists like MPH, Bakey, Interplanetary Criminal, and 33 Below, Juni blends classic UKG swing with forward-thinking sound design and raw low-end energy.
Now shifting focus toward a run of original material, Juni is moving beyond the bootleg circuit - building a catalogue that pushes his sound forward while staying rooted in the dark, minimal aesthetic he’s become known for. With momentum building, Juni’s next chapter is set to hit even harder.
