Misty is an electronic DJ hailing from Tāmaki Makaurau. Raised in the era of burning physical CDs and mixtapes, she has long identified as a music curator and sound selector, transferring her versatile and dynamic music taste to the decks since she started playing shows in early 2023.
A quintessential Misty set traverses through elements of funky basslines, nostalgic synths, and dreamy melodies. However, never confined to a single sound, a Misty set will always keep you on your toes.
With her finger on the pulse of the Tāmaki Makaurau club scene today, Misty has played shows with some of the country’s most prominent promoters, including Audiology, Cream, SMALL RAVE, Summit Touring, Collekt House Group, and Matakanarama, while supporting international artists such as Netsky, The Trip, Kirollus, and Kepler.
Through her constantly shapeshifting DJ selections, she intends to not only soundtrack your night, but introduce you to at least one track ID you’ve never heard before. Misty’s not here to give the crowd what they expect, but what they didn’t know they needed.
